Sculptra
Sculptra is in injectable filler made from a safe, synthetic injectable material known as “poly-L-lactic acid.” This filler is ideal for replacing facial fat loss, which occurs as a natural result of the aging process. It works by increasing collagen production, gradually and significantly increasing skin thickness, especially along the cheeks. Since poly-L-lactic acid is biocompatible (a material that does not harm the body), no skin test is required.

It also effectively restores facial volume in patients who have had facelift cosmetic surgery. HOW IS sculptra PERFORMED?
Sculptra® treatments are administered by using very thin needles to deliver this solution just underneath the skin. You may receive your injections in more than one area of the face, depending on the look you desire. After delivering your injection, our experts will discuss your progress and then schedule you for your next injection. The entire process takes less than 30 minutes.
While the improvements from Sculptra can last up to 2 years, it is not a permanent filler.
recovery from sculptra
Although there’s no downtime associated with Sculptra. Some swelling can develop after treatment, which is temporary. Massage of the areas treated is important for the first few days. Improvements appear gradually as collagen production increases, which can take approximately 6 weeks. This lends to the natural looking results of Sculptra. Optimal results usually require at least 3 to 6 treatments, each spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart.
